Efteråret og vinteren byder på Ubisofts vel nok stærkeste line-up af titler nogensinde. Ikke bare fyrer de Assassin’s Creed III og Far Cry 3 af, men de leverer også en fjerdedel af lanceringstitlerne til Wii U. Med seks titler klar til Nintendos nye konsol fra dag et af, er det tydeligt, at Ubisoft satser stort på Wii U’en. De to største af lanceringstitlerne er Assassin’s Creed III og det potentielt fede og ganske eksklusive ZombiU. Derudover er de også klar med Just Dance 4, Sports Connection, Rabbids Island og Your Shape Fitness Evovled 2013. Rayman Legends skulle også have været iblandt titlerne, men Ubisoft valgte at forsinke spillet, så kvaliteten bliver helt i top. Det kan vi ikke klage over. Ubisoft står altså stærkere end nogensinde før, især hvis Wii U får en god og salgsstærk start.

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – November 15, 2012 – Today, Ubisoft® announced that six titles will be available to consumers in support of the Wii U™ system launch in North America on November 18, including Assassin’s Creed® III, Sports Connection, Just Dance® 4, Rabbids® Land, Your Shape®: Fitness Evolved 2013 and ZombiU™. The same lineup will be available when the console launches in EMEA territories on November 30. Ubisoft currently has the most Wii U titles announced among third-party developers, representing nearly 25% of the launch day titles for the console. Other Ubisoft games arriving soon for Wii U include Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth and Rayman® Legends.

Ubisoft’s history of originality on Nintendo platforms includes multi-million selling franchises for the Wii™ system from Nintendo, including Just Dance, the best-selling third-party game ever on the console, Rabbids and Red Steel®. Ubisoft has also had great success on the Nintendo DS™ system with brands such as Imagine® and Petz®. With the launch of Wii U, Ubisoft is once again aiming to be the leading third-party developer by delivering a diverse lineup that appeals to both core and casual gamers, including fans of action-adventure, dance, family, fitness, sports and survival-horror genres.
