Det er i dag, at Funcom og Electronic Arts (EA) smider tøjlerne og går deres noget anderledes MMO-spil The Secret World tilgængeligt. Begge skal have ros for at have forsøgt noget andeledes i en genre, som i den grad er type-domineret af ét spil. The game is now available on PC worldwide for $49.99 USD.

The Secret World is the first MMO set in a real, modern-day world where every conspiracy theory, fable and urban legend is true.   1. Mjah, okay fed trailer. Men spillet siger mig ingenting. Måske hvis der kommer en free trial, F2P eller hvad det nu bliver så får det en chance.

  2. Tja, kan godt lige historien bag TSW samt stemningen.. Og mente det er det bedste mmo JEG har spillet

    Combat og char. creator er ikke for god..

  3. Fin trailer, godt sortiment af monstre og lokationer og igennem dem visuelle stemninger… Godt valgt musik. Hvis det var et singleplayer-spil ville jeg prøve det.

    kan lige smide et hurtigt first impression.

    Der er ikke levels i TSW, istedet baserer du din “level” på dit gear, som har en Quality Level fra 1-10.

    Når du slår noget ihjel eller laver quests får du exp, som giver dig Ability og Skill point.

    her unlocker du med point level 1-10 i alle 3 og kan så bruge bedre QL talismans, udover at give en passive stat boost, hp og resists.

    Samme gælder for våben, du skal have Hammer lvl 3 for at bruge QL4 hammer feks.

    her kan du desuden vælte at proppe point i dmg eller defense/heal eller begge hvis du har lyst.

    AP bruger du på at unlocke abilities til det våben du bruger.
    Det minder meget om et skill tree, du køber dig op igennem en gren for at få de bedste og dyreste abilities.

    du kan specce i alt, der er ingen classes, og du får nok point til at kunne specce alt op, men det tager lang tid.

    der er 3 factions, og alle factions og servers kan spille sammen i pve, men I BG er det 3 faction combat.
    2 standard BG som er en pool fra alle servers og så en persistent BG som er server exclusive.

    Combat har fået lidt kritik, men jeg synes egentligt ikke det er så slemt igen.
    De fleste våben har builders og finishers, jeg mener alle melee våben desuden auto builder stille og roligt.
    det er meningen at du skal rende rundt med 2 våben typer på samme tid, og forhåbentligt udnytte den synergi de 2 våben gir, der er nogle templates som man kan følge og så unlocke et unikt sæt tøj, som kun er kosmetisk.
