Har du haft svært ved at finde ud af præcis hvad Sony har tænkt sig i forbindelse med deres Gran Turismo serie, er der ikke noget at sige til det. Først blev Gran Turismo HD annonceret lang til før PlayStation 3 så dagens lys. Så blev det aflyst og et par uger senere omdøbt til Gran Turismo Prologue. Et halvt år senere blev det besluttet at Gran Turismo Prologue alligevel ikke var “det rigtige” næste Gran Turismo og det ville derfor være have en demo-agtig størrelse, som ville debutere på PS Network. I dag synes Sony dog at have få færten af det rigtige og har fremsendt deljer omkring både Gran Turismo Prologue og også det kommende Gran Turismo 5. Prologue vil, som før beskrevet, kunne hentes via PS Network, men også være tilgængeligt på Blu-Ray DVD. Det vil inkludere 40 biler og kunne afvikles i fuld 1080p i 60 FPS (replays dog kun i 30 FPS). 40 biler? sikke et rip off! der er jo over 730 biler i Gran Turismo 4… Igen bliver gfx prioriteret istedet for gameplay…
Man kan så spørge sig selv, om det er nødvendigt med 730 biler.

Det er kun i Prologue – det “rigtige” spil har sikkert mange flere biler..
