Det var oprindeligt meningen af PS3-udgaven af Electronic Arts’ og BioWares Dragon Age: Origins først ville dukke op to uger efter både Xbox 360 og PC-udgaven, men BioWare har været hurtige. EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA – October 23, 2009 – Leading video game developer BioWare™, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS), announced today that the PlayStation®3 version of Dragon Age™: Origins will be available on November 3, 2009 in North America. The PlayStation 3, Xbox 360® and PC versions of the game have “gone gold” in North America and are currently in manufacturing ready for their November 3 launch date. At launch, Dragon Age: Origins will be available on all three platforms with several packs of downloadable content (DLC) including The Stone Prisoner, the Blood Dragon Armor and Warden’s Keep; each further enriching the gameplay experience.

“Unfortunately for European gamers, BioWare still plans on releasing the PS3 edition of Dragon Age: Origins after the PC and 360 versions launch November 6. “[We’re] still working on the EU release timing for PS3,” said Muzyka. “We’ll have an announcement on that shortly–[it’s] still planned for some time a bit later in November.”
