Project Soul har nu leveret sidste linje kode til deres ventede SoulCalibur V. Der er lige under en måned til, at vi en 3. februar kan finde vores controllere frem og uddele heftige virtuelle tæv til vores venner. SoulCalibur V foregår 17 år efter det sidste spil og vil byde på et hav er nye karakterer. Ezio Auditore de Firenze fra Assassins Creed serien dukker også op, og han ligner rent faktisk en gæstekarakter, der passer perfekt til netop SoulCalibur. Hvis du forudbestiller en Collectors Edition, får du en flot art-book, en cd proppet med musik fra hele SoulCalibur serien, en bunke Making-of videoer, DLC-koder til Black Knight og White Knight rustninger samt et stykke originalt artwork fra spillet. CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 04 January 2012 – The world’s legions of SOULCALIBUR fans came an important step closer to fight glory today, as NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe announced that Project Soul has completed development on SOULCALIBUR™V for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360®. Set in a new era 17 years on from its predecessor and loaded with new game features, including the guest appearance of master assassin Ezio Auditore de Firenze from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, SOULCALIBUR V is heading to retailers on January 31st in North America and February 3rd in Europe.

Developed by the Project Soul team at NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. in Japan, SOULCALIBUR V picks up 17 years after the events of SOULCALIBUR IV with new heroes and returning warriors clashing in an epic showdown between good and evil. The tale of Patroklos, son of Sophitia Alexandra, unfolds as his family’s destiny becomes entwined with the Soul swords. With improved character customization and new gameplay features including the Critical Edge and Quick Move systems plus the dangerous presence of master assassin Ezio Auditore de Firenze, SOULCALIBUR V is shaping up to be the essential fighting game of 2012.
