Remove the stupid rules to combat feeding and farming, and replace them with ones that work:

1a) Keep track of all aid sent and received, and disallow a negative balance of more than some constant times the size of the kingdom at any time. This isn’t reset ever. For this purpose, soldiers count as 100gc, bushels as half a gc and runes as 3 gc.

1b) Keep track of all aid sent and received, and show this on a CB. This way feeders can be identified and taken out, and honest players won’t have to suffer these accusations.

2) Disallow non-Raze attacks (meaning the new Raze attack described in one of my other posts) on active players. The gains on inactives are the same as they were last round.

3) Implement the group attack, it’s long due.

I definitely like 1A — an public “trade deficit” standing would make feeders very apparent. I’m not sure we would restrict aid based on this, but it could be useful to identify feeders & feedee’s to both us and other players.

There are still server issues with the group attacks, which is the main reason it hasn’t been implemented yet. The strain might by a bit much.

I’m not sure I agree with the Raze change, so I can’t comment on #2.

Keep all of these suggestions for near the end of the age, though — they are a good starting point for discussions on changes and the major problems with the game.
