Plot summary
In the war torn year of 2741, Captain Jacob Angelus of the Northern Star Alliance (NSA) becomes the central figure in the futile war against the warmongering Terran Empire. It soon becomes apparent that the situation is bleak and hopeless for the NSA…
Factions
Northern Star Alliance (NSA)
The NSA are the good guys of the game. A democratic and free people, they value personal life and freedom. The NSA has its home world on the planet Morningstar Prime in the 3rd segment of the Orion Sphere.
Their severely war torn home is besieged by the warmongering Terran Empire. The NSA rely heavily on a military similar to modern technology (rockets, explosives, artillery and projectile weapons). Their only goal is to survive and after 40 years of war they are weary but determined.
Terran Empire
The Terran Empire is a relatively new empire that drives an iron willed offensive against the outer colonies. Their goal is to reunite mankind at all costs. The Imperial military relies on advanced technology (hover tanks, energy weapons) and a seemingly endless supply of fresh legionnaires. Their units are shining, sleek and with a strong Romanesque inspiration.
Main Character
NSA Captain Jacob Angelus (the player)
Captain Jacob Angelus is a model officer and a natural leader of men. He knows how to get the job done and believes firmly in the chain of command. Now 27 years of age, he has just been promoted to Captain. He is well liked among the higher ranks, their only concern being that he may lack some independency.
Jacob Angelus is a serious soldier who keeps to himself, always manages to be in the right place at a potentially lethal time, which makes him highly appreciated by his fellow soldiers.
