Sunstorm Interactive Introduces Final Score

Finally the game you crave – tension-filled gameplay and high-adrenaline excitement.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – September 5, 2002

Is it the excitement of being on the wrong side of the law or masterminding a scheme to pull off the biggest heist? Final Score offers you the chance to experience the excitement and adrenaline from the perspective of a crew of professional criminals. Sunstorm Interactive sets the industry astir today with the introduction of Final Score scheduled to make its debut on the PC with a version to follow for the Playstationâ2 computer entertainment system and Xbox™ video game system.

In Final Score, (www.finalscore-thegame.com), your goal is to complete each score by the numbers, in as little time as possible, while keeping your crew alive long enough to make an escape. A successful job not only means more money for the next one, but also allows the player to improve the skill levels of their crew. A failed job on the other hand-either by getting caught or getting killed-will end the game.

Throughout the game, players will work to build an elite crew to pull-off a series of scores including jewel thefts, bank heists, and armored car robberies, in hopes of retiring from their life of crime, to a life of luxury. Playing the role of Dan Hawkins…an experienced criminal mastermind, the player will hire crew members with the expertise required for each job, as well as acquiring any weapons, equipment, information or vehicles needed to pull it off. During a job, the player will have the ability to issue simple commands to each crew member using a special pop-up command interface, which will enable them to carry out their assigned tasks to complete the job.

Final Score will offer a highly specialized, unique crew of professional criminals, including Safecrackers, Security Experts, Weapons Specialists and Getaway Drivers-each with their own personality, work habits, skill levels, equipment requirements and pay expectations! A diverse range of locations and scenarios comprising roughly a dozen elaborate criminal schemes ranging from ski-masked bank robberies to highly explosive armored car heists, high-tech jewel thefts and more-surprising scripted events and ever-changing environments will teach the player to expect the unexpected and plan for the worst!

Targeting the popular action and tactical-action game genres, Final Score is packed with a compelling, story-driven play experience. Final Score offers branching storylines and varied mission solutions, which enhance replay-ability. Maximize your retirement funds and increase your legend-status reputation by improved performance each time you play.

Final Score will also include various multiplayer modes and scenarios as seen in the current crop of PC titles. Familiar Team Deathmatch and Counterstrike-style play modes will be available to the player as well as a few new, unique game types specific to the ‘criminals vs. law enforcement’ setting.

Sunstorm Interactive is seeking a publisher for Final Score, which will be released Fall 2004.
