The Quake community can be a scary group. They all seem to know in advance what they are doing and don’t seem very friendly on the surface. That is not the norm however. You may run into a group who “think” they are “all that” and reality is that no one else likes to play with them. They are usually rude, whine when they are losing and call people filthy names when they are beat by them. These are people who are ignored by others or are most often kicked by the server administrator (the person running the server).

Real Quakers have a sense of honor and dignity within their community. They shun cheaters, and don’t welcome llamas who whine and gripe on the server. Real Quakers like a good fair game with good sportsmanship behind it. And if you react with stupidity and foulness, you are laughed at and remembered the next time they run into you. They will actually make it their goal to make sure you never have a chance to respawn and play
