Activision har smidt en mail i nakken på mig med navnene på 11 nye sange som du får chancen for at spille i Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, når spillet kommer til oktober. Hil Satan, eller noget. Update: Activision har efter denne nyhed blev skrevet, annonceret at Metallica’s “One” fra …And Justice For All også vil være at finde i Guitar Hero III.

(Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today 11 new songs for Guitar Hero™ III: Legends of Rock, the next installment in the #1 best-selling music and rhythm based game franchise, including master tracks from rockers AFI, Iron Maiden, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Slayer and the Strokes.
The 11 additional tracks include:

In fact, real rock stars like Jade Puget, guitarist for AFI, a band featured in the game is anticipating the upcoming release of the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and wants fans to know that “if you’re going to start playing Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, make sure you have, say, the next 2 years free, because that’s all you’re going to want to do.”

Har aldrig prøvet GH, men vil sku gerne. Og for at føje spot til skade, fik jeg tilsendt GH: Rock the 80s til PS2

Men hvor er AC/DC og Led Zeppelin henne?
Fedt nok at Number of The Beast er kommet med, men vil nu meget gerne have at hvertfald AC/DC også kommer med
Godt Guitar hero 3 og Rock Band ikke kommer samtidigt ellers ville jeg da være ruineret >_<
96,3 % ubeskriveligt dårlige sange. De sidste 3,7 kvalitetsfyldte procenter står Even Flow for.
#6 hehe jo de gør. de kommer begge i 4.kvartal 2007. men rockband overskygger gh3 totalt. harmonix har udkonkurreret deres eget produkt. jeg er ikke sikker på jeg vil betale 6-700 kr for gh3 når rockband har mulighed for at have de samme sange og med mange flere muligheder.
ps: håber rockband har en story line i career mode lige som Quest for Fame havde. det var ganske fedt.

Hvorfor? der er da ingen grund til at eje Guitar Hero 3, når et spil som ROCK BAND udkommer, glæder mig til at spille trommer

Virker dog lidt blæst at Reptillia både er med i Rock Band og Guitar Hero.

Well, GH3 guitarene er da måske compatibel med Rock Band, og da en stand alone guitar næsten koster et helt spil, så det vel godt hentet ind hehe..
rock bands guitar har 2 sæt knapper.. jeg tror/håber det nederste sæt knapper er til når man skal spille høje toner
btw. så er gunsnroses-welcome to the jungle også med i rock band. så det er mindst 2 sange der går igen.

De ekstra knapper er til soloer, men man behøver ikke at bruge dem. Det står en frit for.

Sikke noget gejl at skrive, det bliver helt sikkert den sværeste sang i spillet – og er da om noget synonymt med at være en guitar hero – om man kan lide sangen eller ej.
