Hejsa,
I have a ReadyNAS NV+ v2 and it’s working great over the LAN and I’ve also installed an app on it to run torrent “BTransmission” which works flawlessly but I can’t get ReadyNAS Remote to work
I have DMZ’d the ReadyNAS in my router so port issues should be aliminated.
I can access the readyNAS dashboard via my WAN IP with on problem and if I enter the specific port I configured for the BTransmission I can easily go to that interface as well – so there should be a hole/connection to the ReadyNAS.
However the ReadyNAS Remote is not working for me and I can’t figure out why.
I went to the systems -> settings and enabled it – also typed in my email adressed and recived an activation link and did all the steps.
My ReadyNAS screen looks like this where it says there is internet and it’s online: http://screencast.com/t/Y2UO3YjDw
If I go to the remote.readynas.com website I can also log in with my ID and it welcomes me: http://screencast.com/t/dou9oPoouM
I have installed the ReadyNAS remote on my iphone 5s and on my Macbook Air but neither of them will connect to the readynas.
iPhone 5S gives a “could not register, please check your credentials”
Macbook Air gives a “ReadyNAS Remote – Login Failed” msgI’ve tried on the ReadyNAS to click the advanced options and enable TCP on port 6300 and also ticked the TCP box on the Macbook but same error (iphone also gives that error).
I’ve tried enabling encryption for SMB on the ReadyNAS and on the Macbook Air but same result – Login Failed (also comes with both places being disabled)
I’ve tried to go to the user account on the Security -> User tab and retype the password and same result ;(
